The City of Crandall City Council approved the hiring of the city’s newest City Manager, Rob Evans, on May 5, 2025. Mr. Evans, 11-year City Management career started in Texas and eventually migrated to Lamar, Colorado. He is very excited to return home to Texas along with his family. His start date with the City of Crandall is June 1, 2025.
Mr. Evans is a retired Army officer (Field Artillery) and comes to the City of Crandall with three Master degrees (Public Administration, Business Administration and Master of Science in Agriculture and Consumer Resources). He is a visionary and excited to meet the residents of Crandall. His open, collaborative management style will enhance the completion of many capital projects that are currently on the table.
The City of Crandall City Council is very excited to welcome Rob Evans to the community and lead the city to responsible growth and future success.
