Stockings for Seniors 2025

Please help us reach our goal of giving a stocking of joy to at least 50 seniors to share the love this Christmas holiday! 

We are in great need of the items below in order to fill the stockings (new items only):

Practical and Helpful Gifts:

Magnifying glass: An LED or simple magnifying glass can help with reading small print on medication bottles, books, or mail.

Key finder: A small device that attaches to keys to help locate them easily.

Grooming and hygiene: Items like nail clippers, quality lip balm, nice soap, or a new toothbrush can be a great addition.

Household gadgets: A back scratcher, an automatic jar opener, or a simple bottle opener can be very useful.

Eyecare: For those who wear glasses, cleaning solution and a microfiber cloth are perfect.

Pens and notepad: An updated notepad and a few good pens, perhaps with an easy-to-grip design.

Comforting and Relaxing Gifts

Cozy socks: Warm, fuzzy socks are a classic stocking stuffer that provide comfort.

Hand lotion and hand cream: Especially good for dry skin, which is common in seniors.

Heated items: A heated massager or an electric blanket can provide much-needed warmth and relief.

Scented items: Scented soaps, lotions, or candles can help create a relaxing atmosphere.

Scarf, gloves, and hat: A new set of warm accessories is perfect for winter. 

Entertainment and Leisure Gifts

Gift cards: A gift card to coffee shop, bookstore, or grocery store is always a welcome gift.

Games and puzzles: A deck of playing cards or a jigsaw puzzle can provide hours of entertainment.

Snacks and treats: A bag of nuts, jerky, or a selection of quality chocolates and hard candies.

Books and magazines: A new book by a favorite author, a magazine subscription, or an audiobook can be great for book lovers.

Santa’s Elves will be making deliveries on Tuesday, December 16

Thank you so much for those that have donated and continue to donate!  As we deliver the stockings, we will share with the community the happiness this brings to each one of the recipients - "Stockings for Seniors"

    The Crandall Stockings for Seniors provides Christmas cheer for our Senior Citizens that are 65 or older & has the City of Crandall as their Utility Service Provider.

     


    Please complete this form in its entirety and return to Crandall City Hall no later than Thursday, December 11th. 


    If you need to return this form before/after business hours, please place the form at the City Hall night drop located at the front door slot, located at 110 S. Main Street.
